Slowly getting around to showing you the awesomeness from my recent Halifax-Montreal weddings trip. Here is a sweet engagement shoot from Montreal that we squeezed in between the weddings. Milaré and Marc Eric love to cook together and hang out at their new house, so why not do a shoot there, and really, the pool didn't sway that decision at all, I swear ;)
These two are so sweet and natural, I am so excited for their September wedding!!

You may have noticed some changes on the blog and the website if you visited in the past little while. I am so thrilled to officially show you the new logo design, so beautifully done by Jamie Lawson at Poly Studio!! Jamie has absolutely blown all my expectations; he is so talented, patient and professional, I would highly recommend his skills to anyone looking to re brand, or build something from scratch. He is also the man responsible for designing my gorgeous new letter-pressed business cards. There will continue to be some changes in the whole look and organization of the website, but these changes will take some time to come to fruition. I just couldn't wait to show you the new logo and to send a huge thank you to Jamie, once again, for such an amazing job!!

jill and brian

The day the world was supposed to come crashing, I met up with Jill and Brian for a little photo session. It was a beautiful day at the park, despite the dire warnings, and Jill and Brian obliged all my fancies as we trudged through nature. The highlight of the day was when we found a set of stairs in the middle of the park, that someone labeled as the stairway to heaven. Which is pretty apropos as these two are pretty heavenly; they're so much fun, and in love, not to mention that Jill has the most beautiful skin I've ever seen. I am so excited for their wedding in the wine country this summer!

Juli & John and the snow

What a great way to start a year!! Juli and John's winter engagement shoot just proves you don't need to have sunshine and warm weather for a great shoot. Cuddling up in the snow is just as romantic, and relaxing at a local cafe to warm the toes is very rewarding at the end. These two are definitely not afraid of the cold, in fact they find the northern climate and lifestyle very inspiring. Just check out their amazing shop Mjolk, in the Junction. With such impeccable design sense, I really can not wait for their upcoming wedding!
